Mochi Cafe works without an online account. When you create a local profile you choose a name; it does not have to be your real name. The device stores that name, game progress, scores and high scores, number of lives, the selected profile, and music, sound, vibration and tips settings. This information is only used to continue your career and show local high scores.
The app does not send this information to the developer or any partners. The current version has no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no tracking, no third-party servers, no chat and no cloud sync of its own. The optional one-time “Full Game” purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store; the game only checks with StoreKit whether it was bought and never receives payment details. The game does not ask for access to the camera, microphone, contacts or location. Sound files ship with the app and play locally.
The main save lives in the app's protected folder on the device. The game also keeps the previous working copy of the save; if a damaged file is found, a separate copy may be kept for recovery. These files are not deleted automatically after any period of time.
Deleting a profile from the Switch Player menu removes it from the current list. It does NOT clear the high score table: the deleted player's name and result may stay there. The previous backup or a kept damaged file may also contain older entries. There is currently no single command in the game to delete all high scores and backups.
To delete all of the game's local data, delete the app together with its data in iOS/iPadOS Settings; "Offload App" keeps the data and does not work for this. Apple system backups may exist separately depending on device settings and could restore this data later. The game does not exclude its save from system backups; such backups are managed with Apple's tools.
The developer does not receive copies of local saves through the game and cannot change them remotely. If you choose to send information to support outside the game, handling of that request depends on the support channel the owner provides; that channel is not set yet.

If the game ever adds network features or third-party SDKs, this page will be updated before that version is released.
